Hydroponics

WALT: we are learning about hydroponic systems.

I chose this design because it's an easy simple hydroponic system that can pretty much look after itself. There's three big plastic bottles on the top that slowly let out water because of the holes in the bottle cap. The sun comes in the front and helps the plants grow.

 Nails. Yogurt container. Timber. Drill. Plastic container. Plastic bottle. Milk bottle. Hook.

WALT: I am learning to write descriptive stories. Many years ago, when I was just a small boy, we found a mysterious object washed up on the beach. It was a sort of silver-grey colour, and looked like a finger, only much, much larger. WALT: We are learning to post something on our blogs. All about me !!! My name is Kalani. I have 5 people in my family. I have 3 friends who are Lucas, Oscar and Brooklyn. I’m sure I’m going to get lots more. I have so much fun with my sisters. My sister Elena is so funny. That's why I don't like, but love her. My other sister Nova is so cute and always jumps on me. I love my Mum and Dad soooo much. Mum helps me even when she's busy. My Dad is so fun and loves going to different places with me. I also have a dog named zues and hes learning to play fech. By kalani What I found challenging was remembering what to do. What I enjoyed was to finally post something on my blog.

WALT we are learning to right descriptive pieces of writing: The split: Story Starter - A descriptive writing / a moment in time. She had been standing there for hours, surrounded by ice. As the sun peeped its head over the distant mountains on the horizon, an orange and yellow hue filled the sky. The warmth of the sun was a gesture of kindness to her frozen hands, which she clasped together in front of her trembling body. It was then that she heard it… Crack! It was as if the world in front of her was breaking in two… Then and there she could see the Ice cracking, breaking, snapping like a cookie.
