 WALT: We are learning to sequence ideas and 
  avoid repetition by using synonyms.

Slippers to feet,

self to kitchen,

bread to toaster,

jam to toast (if it's not burnt),

breakfast to mouth,

P.J's to floor,

school clothes to body,

snack to lunchbox,

Poukakai to bag,

toothpaste to bristles,

toothbrush to teeth,

reading log to backpack,

shoes to toes (whoops I forgot my sock’s)

bye to mum,

butt to car seat,

car to school. (mum are we late ?)

WALT: I am learning to write descriptive stories. Many years ago, when I was just a small boy, we found a mysterious object washed up on the beach. It was a sort of silver-grey colour, and looked like a finger, only much, much larger. WALT:  I am learning to write discriptive writing In the early hours of the morning, when the sun was barely peeking its head over the trees that surrounded the lagoon, he lay there. Waiting. The vast creature slid through the water like a partially submerged submarine, the majority of its bulk hidden beneath the green-tinged water. It was a calm morning, and so the shiny surface of the lagoon reflected its surroundings like a window; a window that showed the true beauty of nature for those who looked into it. However,despite its beauty and serenity, the atmosphere in this place could suddenly change. Power, panic and noise could put an end to the peace. The vast creature waited. WALT: We are learning to post something on our blogs. All about me !!! My name is Kalani. I have 5 people in my family. I have 3 friends who are Lucas, Oscar and Brooklyn. I’m sure I’m going to get lots more. I have so much fun with my sisters. My sister Elena is so funny. That's why I don't like, but love her. My other sister Nova is so cute and always jumps on me. I love my Mum and Dad soooo much. Mum helps me even when she's busy. My Dad is so fun and loves going to different places with me. I also have a dog named zues and hes learning to play fech.
